Board of SPGSR

The Board of SPGSR shall be responsible to Senate for all matters pertaining to postgraduate studies at AMOUD University.

Membership of SPG&S
The Board of SPG&S shall comprise:
1. The President of AU, (Chairperson);
2. The Vice President of Admin and Finance;
3. The Vice President of Academic Affairs;
4. Dean of SPG&S (Secretary);
5. Deans of Faculties/Schools;
6. The Registrar; and
7. Dean of Student Affairs

Executive Board
The Executive Board of SPG&S shall comprise:
1. The President of AU, (Chairperson);
2. The Vice President of Admin and Finance;
3. The Vice President of Academic Affairs (Secretary);
4. The Dean of SPG&S; and
5. Any other co-opted member.

Meetings of the Board of SPG&S
The Board of the SPG&S shall normally meet once a month.
1. Notice of regular Board meetings shall be given at least one week in advance with published agenda.
2. The Dean of SPG&S may call a special meeting of the Board and the agenda of such meeting shall be the only business of the day.
3. The quorum for the transaction of any business during all meetings shall be two-thirds (2/3) or the nearest whole number above two-thirds of the membership of the Board of the SPG&S.
4. The Board of SPG&S may at its own discretion invite other persons to attend any of its meetings in an advisory capacity. Such persons shall be listed as “In attendance” and shall not have the power to vote.
